Meet Mycheala
Mycheala Holley (MY-kay-lah Haw-lee) is a trailblazing leader, community advocate, and the Founder and CEO of Holley Community Solutions LLC (HCS). A proud Akron native, Mycheala’s journey has been defined by her unwavering commitment to empowering communities and advancing equity across Northeast Ohio.

Mycheala’s professional career spans federal, state, and local government, where she held pivotal roles that shaped policy and strengthened community engagement. Most notably she served as an Ohio District Director of Outreach in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she advanced initiatives on food security, equitable housing, and federal investment in underrepresented communities. Additionally, Mycheala has served as the North-Central Ohio Regional Representative in the United States Senate, managing a nine-county region, as well as serving as a Legislative Aide in the Ohio House of Representatives, organizing impactful community events and town halls.

Academically, Mycheala is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Akron School of Law, with plans to graduate in December 2025. Her dedication to leadership and service has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Greater Akron Chamber 30 for the Future Award, the Marian Wright Edelman Award for Social Change, and The Ohio State University African American Heritage Woman of the Year Award.

Holley Community Solutions was born out of Mycheala’s vision to create a consulting firm that combines strategic expertise with a deep commitment to justice and empowerment. Through HCS, Mycheala leverages her extensive experience in advocacy and policy to help communities and organizations create sustainable solutions to social and economic challenges. Her long-term goal is to grow HCS into a full-service law and strategic consulting firm, amplifying its impact even further.

Outside of her professional achievements, Mycheala finds joy in her roles as a devoted mother to her daughter, Adela, and as an active member of the Akron Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is also deeply engaged in her community through her work with the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, Akron Urban League Young Professionals, Ladies First Akron, and the Black Law Students Association. When she isn’t working, you can find Mycheala dancing, traveling, or staying active—always learning and growing.
